Other stuff 10/25/11

After sunning for an hour to make my Missouri tanning-bed tan last, I watched the pelicans from the tall beach bar stools by the pool.  What a hoot!  They dive straight down and make a belly-flop splash, only to float around and pluck for fish.  Not like the determined seagulls who swoop, scoop water and hopefully a fish, then soar off again.  I may have the type of bird all wrong.  Probably do.  But it was sure fun to watch.  And a good lesson -- dive in to get what you want but then relax enough to enjoy it.
